Lobo Lookout - 2014

Before Heinz and Angela left on Monday we thought they should see Lobo Lookout.  It is located almost to the Continental Divide and up to almost 12,000 feet.

A couple of days before I wanted to show them some photos of Lobo so I “Googled” it and was surprised to see my blog post of July 10, 2010 about Lobo was the #2 search result item.

It was a clear day when we went up, so we had a great view of the surrounding area.

There was a little haze in the further mountains, but on a really clear day you can see all the way to New Mexico.

Here are photos of Heinz and Angela for them to snatch for themselves.

It was completely disheartening to see all the dead trees because of the pine beetle. Whole hillsides of dead trees.

We sure had a great holiday weekend with the Abeyta clan, Christy, Ma’am, Tim, Paulo and The Berganns.  Always fun to RV with friends.

Remember, you are loved.
